Yikes! The routes and details have CONTINUED to change THROUGH TODAY and only this afternoon has everything been finalized. Think “ROAD CONSTRUCTION, ROAD CONSTRUCTION, ROAD CONSTRUCTION.” it’s been a mess, frankly, and so I am BEGGING you to update the site today. Will you please update the website with this invite; I am sending to you both a PDF and a .jpeg version, so use which ever works best.
First, there is an updated version of the invite itself. It can be identified by the ABSENCE OF THE CAF logo, the reference to it in the text, and a color shift in the background to a somewhat stronger almond color.

PART TWO!
Greetings, troops!
I am again inviting you to join us in the Edina 4th of July Parade tomorrow! Some of you have prior parade commitments, but you can always dump them and come to this one.
Here are all of the details and maps that you will need to come and drive in front of 20,000+ patriotic spectators.
Best as I can recall...
Your rally point and where you will queue up to load our veterans is at the Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St., 552424.This is the same location as we had last year. The parade starts at 10:00 AM. We ask that all HMV drivers and their OD steeds arrive by 8:30 AM. The first vehicle should line up at the south entrance onto Eden Ave., pointed south, with the rest of us behind them in a single line. I will ride shotgun at the end of our group. if we have too many HMVs to fit in a single line, i will be there giving directions accordingly.
There is a veritable crapload of road construction at the parade starting point and just about everywhere else in Edina, so please refer to these maps. They are going to be pretty darn useful. Otherwise, you might end up stuck in a trench, circling St. Louis Park, or under arrest by Edina’s zealous cops.
Please call me 24/7 at the number below if you have any questions or comments, including during the day tomorrow. The parade will go on, rain or shine, and not delayed for more than an hour if the weather is poopy. We only call the parade if there is a lot of lightning (nobody likes being fried) or a tornado (nobody likes starting in Edina and then suddenly fi If I can get Thelma Lou running a bit more reliably than she was yesterday, I will be there, wet or dry.
