Remarks: MN Cars & Coffee was founded in 2008 by Luis Fraguada and Tyler Christopherson. After returning from a stint in Arizona, Luis reunited with his best friend and fellow car enthusiast Tyler, and together they decided to create “MN CARS & COFFEE” to organize a local gathering of car enthusiasts that share their love of automobiles.

Luis and Tyler created MN C&C to unite the local car community with an event that appeals to every motor-head.  We are fortunate to have some good car shows in the area, but they tend to be a specific marque or genre of automobile. They wanted to create a car show that features EVERYTHING:  Italian Exotics, American Muscle, British Classics, Japanese Tuners, and many more can be seen each month at the shows.

The event started at a small coffee shop in Minnetonka with only 35 cars. Word spread quickly, and by August there were over 200 cars. The huge success of the event necessitated a move to a garage complex in Chanhassen. The show had grown to over 1,000 show cars and 10,000+ spectators each month.

In 2017, the show took another huge step forward, moving to Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. The attendance has now doubled, with the summer shows drawing 20,000+ spectators. This new expansion has also allowed us to feature 4,000+ show cars. Plus, we now offer a myriad of food trucks at each show, so come hungry.

Always held on the FIRST SATURDAY of each month (April- Oct), this show is the largest monthly car gathering in the country!

Lastly, it’s important to them that the event is FREE to the participants and spectators.  It’s important that ANY car enthusiast can enjoy the show without having to pay to do so. Also, the events are rain or shine, so dress appropriately.

Paul Wirth and Steve Landgraf, will be going there with their vehicles for the ceremony, if there's anyone else who wishes to come you're more than welcome will have to be there fairly early probably around 4:30 PM (actual ceremony starts at 6 PM).

We would like to invite some of your members to participate with us in a Armed Forces Day event.

CSOAF, has been invited by the Forest Lake Cub Foods on May 19th, for a fund raising event,

bagging groceries, at their store.  The time frame for us and volunteers will be from 0900 to 1800 hrs.

This is to be a special event with a show of military equipment, Color Guard, and signage.  The store manager

is adamant about making this a large show of anything military.  He requested that we have military

equipment and displays in the parking lot.

More information about this event will be forthcoming as it comes together.

This is just to let you know that the North Branch AFJROTC is on board for posting the colors at

    the event.

It would be great having the RBHMVA participate in this event, please let me know your thoughts.

    Respectfully
